- Your lyophilised (freeze-dried) peptide vial
- BAC Water (sterile bacteriostatic water)
- A sterile syringe (1 mL or 3 mL is ideal)
- Alcohol swabs or wipes
βοΈ Step 1 β Clean the Vials
Always start by sanitising both vial tops (the peptide and BAC water vials) with an alcohol swab.
Let them air dry for a few seconds β this prevents contamination and ensures a clean mix.
π Step 2 β Draw Up the BAC Water
- Attach the needle to your sterile syringe.
- Pull back the plunger to draw air into the syringe (equal to the amount of water you plan to withdraw β e.g., 2 mL).
- Insert the needle into the BAC water vial and push the air in β this helps equalise pressure.
- Then, slowly draw out the desired amount of BAC water.
